About Me

Jasmine is a passionate art teacher and illustrator who believes in the artistic potential within each child. She has a primary focus in fine arts drawing, painting, & sculpting. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Practice, Preparation for Teaching from San Jose State University, where she studied studio arts and arts education.

As an artist, her work explores childhood nostalgia, human emotions, and nature. The mediums she selects to explore these themes are watercolor & acrylic painting, and digital media. When creating, Jasmine experiments with different art techniques and uses critical thinking strategies to solve problems while strategically getting lost in art. Jasmine believes that art is not about getting to a perfected result, it is about finding yourself within the process and what best sparks your inner voice.

In her free time, she creates art, goes hiking/fishing, plays tennis, hangs out with friends & family, and plays with her dear cat named Sylvie.
